JOB TITLE: Security Systems Engineer
SALARY: £45,000 - £50,000
LOCATION: London / Home Counties
SETTING: Office & Onsite locations 5 days per week
BENEFITS: 22 days Annual Leave with an extra day every 2 years up to 30 days
My client is a leading mid-market CCTV provider, working with a wide range of customers throughout London and the South. The business is owned and managed by a team with many years of experience, and due to sustained organic growth, they are looking for an excellent Security Systems Engineer to join their friendly, established team.

Job Specification:
The Security Systems Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for the call outs, installation, commissioning, of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. The role involves both planned works and reactive fault response across customer sites, ensuring systems are reliable, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Requirements
The focus of this position is to Install CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems on new and existing sites.
In addition: you’ll also be responsible for..
Fault Finding- Responding to reactive service calls and emergency faults
CCTV Systems- Installing CCTV cameras and Configure IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs/Servers
Offer practical recommendations for system improvements
About You: - Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in both installation and servicing of:
CCTV systems
Access control systems
Intruder alarm systems
Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Preferred Qualifications
ECS / CSCS card
IPAF, PASMA, or similar site safety certifications
Manufacturer-specific training or certifications
Experience working under NSI standards
